Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC) has been awarded a significant offshore oil and gas project in Qatar, marking a new milestone in contract value for Chinese enterprises operating in the Middle East. This achievement demonstrates the growing engineering capabilities of Chinese enterprises in international offshore oil and gas projects.
The project is located at Qatari waters in the Arabian Gulf. The scope consists of four packages: New Build (Greenfield), Subsea, WHJ Modifications, and Decommissioning. COOEC successfully secured two of these packages.
